How can monitoring information be harnessed to improve water quality and advance health equity? Saskia’s research tackles this complex systems challenge by bridging scientific innovation and place-based decision-making using a range of environmental geography methods. For the 100 Million Initiative, her work informs the design and evaluation of strategies to assess, communicate, and respond to water quality risks in challenging water supply contexts. This is only possible through collaborative partnerships with practitioners, governments, funders, and citizens.
